SATs RESULTS 2024
Why our data is split into mainstream only and all
Numbers in brackets beside school data indicate national outcomes. Mainstream only (MO) indicates data without Designated Provision data included (we have two 8 place specialist provisions/classes for children with ASD). Only 7 out of 69 primary schools in Warrington have Designated Provisions and the children in the provisions come from across the borough. The provisions in our school are split into two rooms; EYFS/Year 1 and Year 2 (Owlets room) and Y3 – Y6 (Owls room). Although having two ASD provisions does have an adverse impact on the schools published data, the school and the Local Authority strongly believe that there should be an alternative option for children with ASD (rather than going straight to a special school) for pupils who struggle to access mainstream education successfully. We believe the benefits to the pupils, their families and our school far outweigh any disadvantages. On our school website we publish data including our DP children and a set of data showing mainstream data only. The mainstream only data does include any children with special education needs that are in our mainstream classes.
EYFS Good Level of Development
The Good Level of Development (GLD) is the percentage of pupils who achieve age related expectations in every one of the 8 prime learning goals as well as Literacy (Reading and Writing) and Mathematics (Number as well as Shape, Space and Measures)

KS1 SATs Teacher Assessment 2023
Following the 2017 consultation on primary assessment, the Government announced in July 2022 that end of KS1 assessments will no longer be statutory from the academic year 2023 to 2024 onwards. This took effect from 1 September 2023.
There is no legal requirement for schools or local authorities to report optional KS1 teacher assessment data back to the Government and the Government will not ask schools to do so. There is also no requirement to report results from end of KS1 assessments to parents. As with other years in which there are no statutory assessments, there will still be a requirement for headteachers to provide an annual report to parents or carers about a pupil’s general progress in year 2.

Key Stage 2 SATs Results 2024
For further information please see the Performance Tables. Please be aware that the Performance Tables published by the Government include the data for the children in our Designated Provisions classes. Therefore, it is not a true reflection of the performance of the school given the children in the Designated Provisions come to our school from across the authority and have significant special educational needs. The data on this page is a more accurate reflection of the school and it is the data presented on this page that Ofsted will look at when inspecting the school.
